Thanks so much to family and friends who helped out. We got welcome back treats and meals just when we needed it. Extra hands to help paint, take care of Emersyn, and move furniture. One of the many wonderful parts of living where we do is the abundance of people we know and who are willing to help out.
As much as we enjoyed California, Chris and I realized we are not meant to live in the city. We enjoy wide open spaces with green fields, mountains, livestock, three-legged dogs, and where we can see a tractor driving down the road every now and then. We hope to stay where we are for quite a while.
While we aren't hoping to move any time soon, Emersyn seems to do something new every day. It has been great for her to have so many family members around to give her new songs to sing and games to play. She has started to try communicating, but it's in a language that I think only she and Chris understand.

Emersyn is so cute! I can't believe you guys have a little baby. I love the stage she is at. I'm happy to hear you are getting settled back into life. We found a house to rent for the 3 years we are here and I'm soooo excited as you can imagine after you've heard all my complaining. We are moving in next week before we come to Utah. I'll call you soon.
Fantastic! We hope to see you soon.
Okay, that video of Emersyn it priceless. She has grown up so much in just that last month. Glad to hear you guys are getting settled in and back home where you love to be. We miss you still.
You didn't understand her? Isn't it quite clear?
I'm so glad that you're getting settled and enjoying life in Utah again; although we do miss you here in California. I can't wait to hear how your trip to Cape Cod was.
